CELEBRATE INDIVIDUALITY

Our people are at the heart of Diesel’s success. United by our core values of respect and responsibility, Diesel is a diverse team of more than 3,000 people around the world, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment that allows every team member to reach their full potential. It’s the passion and determination of our teams who bring our sustainability strategy to life and who put words into action.

SUSTAINABILITY TRAININGS

Delivering our commitments starts with empowering our teams to contribute towards a our sustainability strategy activities through their day-to-day work. To help embed this culture, we have developed internal training programmes to ensure every employee has the sustainability knowledge and confidence to put their learnings into practice.

In addition to providing training on general sustainability issues and Diesel's strategy, we provide workshops on a range of specific subjects including low impact denim, responsible sourcing, certifications, and biodiversity. We have also developed guides, tools and resources to support our team members’ learning and development all year round.

For Responsible Training

FRL TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

We partnered with leading Business School, SDA Bocconi in Milan, to develop a pivotal “For Responsible Living” internal education project. After interviewing over 75 Diesel employees across all levels and departments, we worked with SDA Bocconi to develop bespoke sustainability training that responded to the needs and challenges experienced by our teams.

One of the programmes developed focused specifically on supporting C level and management teams on implementing and accelerating progress of the “For Responsible Living” strategy through responsible decision making, facilitating collaboration across different functions of the business, and promoting innovation. Through the training programme, several working groups were developed to tackle the most important sustainability topics at Diesel, and 10 innovative projects have since been put into motion - including Diesel’s Rehab Denim, which was firstly launched in February 2022 for the Fashion Show and later included in SS23 and SS25 collection.

STORE AND OFFICE TRAININGS

At Diesel we’re committed to changing culture around sustainability by building awareness and ensuring all teams understand their role in delivering our sustainability strategy. Internal training programmes start with an initial onboarding for all new hires and continues thorugh our internal education platform (D-velop), where we share information to upskill Diesel’s global teams. Here we have comprehensive information on activities, our sustainability legacy and a dedicated module on denim's preferred materials and treatments in our Denim Discovery training series.

In collaboration with our sustainability partner Create Sustain, we conduct regular training with our Production, Style and design teams to help develop eco-design aligned products from idea to reality. This includes reviewing the fibres we use, considering clothing afterlife and reviewing care & repair techniques.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

In 2023, Diesel, together with OTB, obtained the Gender Equality Certification (UNI/PdR 125:2022) following an evaluation process focused on six indicators and conducted by a world-leading certification company specialized in inspection, conformity verification and certification services. Specifically, the assessment focused on corporate culture and strategy, governance, human resources processes, growth and inclusion opportunities for women, gender pay equity, support for parenthood, and work-life balance.

TOM OF FINLAND FOUNDATION PROJECT

FOR SUCCESSFUL LOVING

In May 2026 Diesel and Tinder launched "For Successful Loving", a creative partnership to celebrate Pride 2026. The project includes a capsule collection and campaign designed to amplify the message of LGBTQIA+ freedom of expression, sexuality, individuality and inclusivity that anchors Diesel and Tinder’s values and identity.

The ‘For Successful Loving’ campaign is conceived as a documentary-style audition exploring the ever-evolving concept of love; the same spirit of curiosity and openness that drives millions of connections on Tinder every day. American artist, model and fashion designer Gigi Goode conducts candid and intimate interviews with a cast of LGBTQIA+ community members, each looking for love in its many splendored forms. The questions and subjects range from tender, emotional and vulnerable to blunt, casual and hilarious.

The Diesel x Tinder capsule is a 17-piece collection spanning men’s, women’s and unisex ready-to-wear,denim and accessories cobranded with a jacquard tag at the center back that displays both brands’ logos and the ‘For Successful Loving’ slogan.

In support of Pride, and separate from the capsule collection, Diesel, through the OTB Foundation, and Tinder have made a combined donation of $200,000 to Outright International, with each partner contributing $100,000. The donation will support Outright’s International inclusive solutions: financial security, socio-economic growth, and job opportunities for LGBTIQIA+ people, which aims to enhance equitable and sustainable access to income for LGBTIQIA+ individuals by facilitating entry into formal employment and providing guidance, support, and coaching for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Through this contribution, an LGBTIQIA+ organization partner in each participating country will receive funding to implement the program over a twelve-month period, from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, in close collaboration with Outright. The initiative will be carried out across four countries (Colombia in Latin America and the Caribbean, South Africa in Africa, Ukraine in Central and Eastern Europe, and the Philippines in Asia) with the objective of increasing the employability and participation of LGBTIQIA+ individuals in formal employment and business creation, strengthening inclusive employment policies and practices within the private sector, and improving retention and career progression opportunities for LGBTIQIA+ employees.
